DAYBRAIN is an app that generates personalized, AI-narrated podcast episodes about topics you choose ("we"). This page explains what data the app collects and what happens to it.
Only to run the product: generating your episodes, keeping your library in sync, sending the notifications you asked for, and understanding how the product is used so we can improve it. We show no ads, we do not sell or share your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Episodes are generated by artificial intelligence. To produce them, your episode topics and assistant questions are processed by third-party AI services for research, script-writing, and text-to-speech. Generated episodes are machine-made and can contain mistakes — treat them as entertainment and a starting point, not professional advice.
Data is stored and processed with established cloud infrastructure providers (database, authentication, audio storage, and hosting), our AI providers, and Apple (sign-in and push notifications).
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Library → account menu → Delete account). Deletion removes your authentication account and profile, private playlists, assistant conversations, feedback, analytics events, and push tokens. Deleting your DAYBRAIN account does not cancel an Apple subscription; you can manage that subscription in your Apple account settings.
We retain minimal subscription and trial-usage records to prevent repeated free-trial claims, and usage totals without account identifiers for billing reconciliation. These records do not contain your email, questions or audio.
When you remove an episode from your library or delete your account, we retain generated content, including its topic, script and audio, to operate and improve the service. Internal content records may retain an account identifier after the authentication account and profile have been deleted. Retained topics, scripts and audio may contain personal details you provided; we do not automatically remove those details from generated content. Private episodes are hidden from other listeners. Episodes and playlists you published remain available without your profile byline. If retained content contains personal information, contact support@daybrain.app to request review and removal of that information.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your data. Email us and we'll sort it out.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note it in the app.
